# High School Credit Equivalency

## FAQ: How do your math programs equate to High School Credits?

Our programs can be considered stand alone or as a supplement to another program. Here’s the high school credit equivalency break-down:

1 Credit = 1 Typical School Year

**Practical Math Foundation (Tiers 1 and 2):**

**Tier 3: **

- .5 Credit of Algebra I
- .5 Credit of Geometry II (Analytical Geometry)

**Tier 4:**

- 1 Credit of Algebra II
- .5 Credit of Geometry I
- .5 Credit of Geometry II (Analytical Geometry)
- .5 Credit of Trigonometry I (Pre-Calculus)

**Tier 5:**

- 1 Credit of Calculus I

**In summary…**

If a student goes through Tier 5, they will have earned the equivalent of 6 Units in high school math as follows:

- Algebra I – 1 Credit
- Algebra II – 1 Credit
- Geometry I – 1 Credit
- Geometry II (Analytical Geometry) – 1 Credit
- Trigonometry I (Pre-Calculus) – 1 Credit
- Calculus I – 1 Credit

The student will also learn concepts not typically covered in a standard high school curriculum such as complex numbers in Tier 4.

In addition, Dr. Del introduces the student to Calculus in Tier 5 in a revolutionary way using Wolfram Alpha which makes both the learning and practice of Calculus much easier than the standard 20th Century approach.
